Brandon Root

I will be acting for the rest of my life.

The son of two aviation engineers, I grew up in the rain-soaked Pacific Northwest, just outside of Seattle. And it was there I discovered my love for the adventure and art of acting. I first took the stage at 5 years old and have continued acting ever since. By the time I graduated high school, I had performed in over 50 theatrical productions. My passion for the craft brought me to UCLA, where I studied under some of the industry's best and brightest, including Tim Robbins and Lainie Kazan. After graduation, I dug into extensive training with Lesly Kahn and Amy Lyndon.

 

This past year, I have appeared on television in Mindy Kaling's THE SEX LIVES OF COLLEGE GIRLS, AMC's BETTER CALL SAUL, and in the Netflix film INTRUSION, Apple TV's PHYSICAL, and FOX's THE CLEANING LADY. Commercially, I have worked for amazing brands including NIKE, AMPM, CISCO, GENERAL MILLS CEREAL.
